Tell Your Friend He/She SUCKS!
When driving a car, as usually in the trance, an interesting idea came to my head. Why people don't change? Actually I didn't try to find the answer, but it seems everyone wants to blame habits from childhood, blaming parents and so on...

Some habits are hard to change or remove from our behavior and it doesn't matter how often people around tell us: ‚you'll never change'. The previous phrase made me think. And it should make you too. How often are we sincere about the looks, the smell, the annoying behaviors of our friends?
Our friendliness and desire not to offend others lead to people not taking little significant changes.
In the past I was wearing a tiny beard on my chin. Guess when did I learn it sucks? Soon after I removed it people came in telling: ‚whoa that beard thing was disgusting, you look much better without it'. Cool... I sucked for about half of a year.
There was such girl I had some business with. She was always telling me how many great friends she had that helps her with promoting products. She had to communicate with a lot of people to get some income. And guess what? Those business partners, friends of hers didn't tell her how bad her breath smells. Yes, she didn't clean her teeth, you could say that even visually! Of course, I didn't tell her anything, I wasn't a friend of her. And even if I was one I'm not sure I had told her... Now I would.
How well her business is rolling? Not very well. And her business advisors didn't advice her to clean her teeth! That's just amazing! My secret friend, if you read this, please forgive me for not telling to you that earlier.
Some people don't know their jokes suck. Most of my jokes would suck also, but fortunatelly it's possible, in this case, to see the reactions of people. Oh, and actually one of my friends recently told I sucked when I tried to joke in some of my articles. And oh yeah, he told me that after I rewritten them :D.
Of course I'm not angry with him It's just the nature of people I guess.
So the summary is simple - try telling your friends what's wrong in them. Maybe they'll get angry at you first, but later they'll thank you. Not everything is easily changed, but simple words, such as ‚clean you teeth', ‚change your haircut', ‚your jokes suck' in pleasant way could mean huge difference in person's life. How to do that in a pleasant way is a topic for another post.
P.S.
I'm still learning English. Did I really need to tell that?
